Basingstoke Councillors Funding

The Basingstoke Councillors Community Grants Scheme provides funding to local voluntary and community groups (Including Sport) and organisations to support one‑off item(s) or activity that benefit residents and communities within Basingstoke and Deane.

Applications opened: 1 June 2026 with Final Deadline: Midday, 1 March 2027 - Grants available: Between £250 and £3000

(Councillor Community Grant allocations) - Delivery period: 8 weeks from grant approval (to purchase item(s) or deliver approved activity)

Who can apply: Eligible community and voluntary organisations and groups that benefit Basingstoke and Deane residents

Now in its fifth year, the scheme benefits community and voluntary organisations to help them deliver local initiatives that make a difference to people’s lives and bring communities together.

Each councillor is given a total allocation of £2,000 to support organisations providing services or facilities that benefit the residents in their ward. Grants of between £250 and £2,000 can be awarded or they can also pool funding with one or two other councillors within Basingstoke and Deane to provide grants up to a maximum of £3,000.
