Basingstoke Half Marathon

Destination Basingstoke are urgently looking for volunteer marshals to support this year’s Phillips Law Basingstoke Half Marathon, 10k & 5k races on Sunday 4th October 2026, and would really appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with your colleagues, wider teams, and members.

With 1,400+ runners taking part, marshals are critical to making race day a success. They will be there to provide guidance and support along the route – and, most importantly, encouragement and a friendly face to keep our runners going!

📅 Race Day: Sunday 4th October 2026

⏰ Volunteer timings will be between 9:30am and 2:00pm, depending on your location on the course.

And we’ll make sure you’re looked after too! Volunteers will receive:

💧 Hydration / 🍪 Snacks to keep you going / 🦺 high-vis!

💜 Give back to your local community: By donating your time and volunteering as a marshal, we’ll make a £30 donation to our charity of the year, Victoria’s Promise, in your name.
