Basingstoke Voluntary Sports Council interact with the vibrant local Sporting community and interact with various associated organisations as appropriate. These include Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council, Basingstoke Voluntary Action, Energise Me, Basingstoke Community Radio, Sport England and a wide range of relevant Sport & Health organisations as appropriate including the local Schools Sport Partnership. We also have our website which contains useful information for the local sporting community.
With a rich history and in an excellent location, Basingstoke and Deane offers the perfect blend of a vibrant town and scenic countryside. The town offers a great shopping experience with plenty to explore and is surrounded by characterful rural villages like Whitchurch, Kingsclere, Overton and Oakley, each with their own story to tell. www.lovebasingstoke.co.uk. Basingstoke also has a great sporting community wth talent and achivements to celebrate.
Basingstoke Voluntary Sports Council work in partnership with Destination Basingstoke to showcase identified talent and community achivements related to the annual Sports Awards. Local leagues, clubs and individuals are strongly encouraged to make suitable nominations each year.

Daily informative BVSC Facebook and regular Instagram posts promote latest news and relevant information including grant information so please encourage your club committees and members to checkout our page and let us know of relevant information you may like promoted or sporting issues which require discussion.
