Please see below of details of the next sports forum which will be taking place on Thursday 14th April (6pm-9pm) at Queen Mary’s College (RG21 3HF). Food and refreshments will be available.

Once again, two workshops will be on offer during the evening and so it would be great if at least two representatives from your club could attend so that you are able to benefit from both workshops. It will also be a great opportunity to network with others from our local sporting community.

The two workshops are:

Social Media - This will introduce you to the various platforms available and most suitable for sports clubs. It will also provide you with some top tips for getting maximum engagement and reach. How to safely use Social Media and examples of best practice along with suggestions on how you take this information and implement it at your club.

Public Relations - This will be delivered by Michelle Leavesley who is a marketing expert and someone Sport Hampshire & IOW have worked with for many years. She will cover how to package and present your message in a way that is credible, interesting and engaging. As well as being ready for response, planning ahead but then also being ready to pounce on a PR opportunity.

If you would like to a space(s) on this evening then please contact Harry Stow from Sport Hampshire and IOW with the name of your club and those attending on 01962 845189 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
