  • Attracting Volunteers on Thursday 10th February between 5.30pm and 7.30pm at the Orchard Building, White Hart Lane opposite Basingstoke Police Station. This workshop is for organisations who wish to attract volunteers. You will get an understanding of why people choose to volunteer and what their expectations might be.
  • Keeping and Valuing your Volunteers on Thursday 10th March between 5.30pm and 7.30pm at the Orchard - A workshop for organisations that already use volunteers looking at how you can ensure that they feel valued and want to stay with you.
  • Supporting Volunteers and Developing a Volunteer Policy on Thursday 7th April between 5.30pm and 7.30pm at the Orchard - This workshop will show you how to support your volunteers and how to carry out supervision in an informal way. Supervision helps volunteers see the importance of their contribution to the organisation, be clear about what they are doing and why, and be motivated and satisfied. It can also help with professional development. It is key to involving a diverse range of volunteers, by defining the role of volunteers within the organisation.

We would recommend that you attend all 3 of the Volunteering modules to support your volunteers. If all 3 workshops are booked together there will be a one-off discount of £3 - cost £12 instead of £15.
